Diary of the Saba (Seven) Sisters.. .Day 1 (08/05/10) – Just Another Day In Paradise:

Matt. 28:19 – Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the

name of the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit.

• The 7 women (Ashley, Carol, Delores, Laura, Lisa, Lydia, and Rhena) meet at the Continental Airline’s counter at 7:00AM, on-time, with our 28 bags and nearly jumping out of our skins with excitement.
• All bags were checked, we passed through the security gates no problems and stopped for our first meal together as a traveling family at the Paradise Bakery.
• Lisa led us in prayer for our meal, for God’s continued blessings for our mission, for our safety, and to watch over our families while we are away.
• In response God assured us that He was and would continue to be in support of our journey as we were given the opportunity to meet Sandia.  Sandia took about a gazillion pictures of us at the Paradise Bakery as we shared with her why the Sisters were at the airport, where we we’re going and the link to this blog page.  She’d never heard of, much less met anyone, who had traveled to share the word of Christ.  As the rest of us gathered our bags to go to our gate Delores hung back to chat more with Sandia sharing how we, for the next two weeks, were striving to be the feet of Jesus in sharing love and kindness to everyone; even those far across the world.  Sandia if you’re reading this we all say “hello” and hope your flight took you to where you were headed in safety.
